Personnel in the USC School of Medicine Office of Medical Education and Academic Affairs provide many services to medical students, including:  orientation programs, assistance with registration and fee payment, financial aid and emergency loans, scheduling of clerkships and electives, student records administration, referral for personal and academic counseling, organization of faculty and peer support systems, advisement regarding medical specialty and residency selection, assistance with insurance and health-related matters, summer employment, support for medical student organizations and social events, liaison for medical students with offices and services on the University's campus.
